Terms & Conditions
These terms govern use of the Opal Ivory Leon website and general enquiry services.
Effective date: 3 August 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of the Opal Ivory Leon website. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website. These terms apply only to website use and general enquiries; a separate written quotation, order confirmation or service agreement may apply to a jewellery commission or purchase.
2. Operator details
The website is operated by Opal Ivory Leon Pty Ltd, an Australian proprietary limited company. Our registered office and contact details are set out below.

3. Information only
Website content is general information about jewellery, materials, craftsmanship and services. It is not professional financial, investment, gemological, insurance or legal advice. Images, colours and dimensions displayed on screens may differ from physical items because of lighting, photography, device settings and natural variation.
4. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the website, correct errors or update content without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, particularly when the site is opened from local files or served through equipment outside our control.
5. Enquiries and consultations
Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract, reserve a production slot or oblige us to accept a commission. A contract is formed only when the applicable proposal, price, specifications, payment terms and other material conditions are confirmed through the process we specify.
6. Bespoke designs
Bespoke work may involve consultation, sketches, computer-aided design, material selection, approvals and hand-finishing. Timelines are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise. Natural gemstones and handcrafted surfaces can vary; reasonable variation is part of the character of the work and is not necessarily a defect.
7. Pricing and payment
Any website price or example is indicative unless clearly stated as a binding offer. Taxes, delivery, insurance, resizing, certification, design revisions and unusual material costs may affect the final price. Payment obligations and deposits will be described in the relevant quotation or order terms.
8. Customer-supplied information and materials
You are responsible for providing accurate contact, sizing, design and delivery information. If you supply stones, metals, heirloom pieces, artwork or instructions, you warrant that you have authority to do so and must disclose known fragility, treatment, damage or provenance issues. Additional risks and limitations may apply to remodelling or working with customer-supplied materials.
9. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the website, branding, text, layout, graphics, photographs, designs and other content are owned by or licensed to us and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may view and print reasonable portions for personal, non-commercial use. You must not reproduce, distribute, scrape, modify, publish, sell or exploit content without prior written permission.
10. User conduct
You must not use the website unlawfully, attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with security, introduce malicious code, harvest information, impersonate another person, submit deceptive enquiries or use automated means that place an unreasonable load on the site.
11. Links and local resources
This build is designed to operate without externally loaded fonts, scripts, styles, images, analytics or embedded maps. If the site is later configured with links to third-party websites, those sites are independently operated and we are not responsible for their content, security or terms.
12. Consumer guarantees
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation. Where liability can lawfully be limited, it is limited only to the extent permitted by law.
13. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not warrant that every description is complete, that every item or service is available, or that the website will be free from errors, security vulnerabilities or interruptions.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising solely from use of, or inability to use, the website. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be excluded and does not override any mandatory consumer rights.
15. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for loss reasonably arising from your unlawful use of the website, infringement of another person’s rights or material breach of these terms. This provision does not require you to indemnify us for loss caused by our own unlawful conduct.
16. Privacy and cookies
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Our Cookie Policy explains essential browser storage and preference controls. Those policies form part of the website terms.
17. Electronic communications
You consent to receiving information relating to your enquiry or website use electronically where lawful. You are responsible for keeping contact details current and for protecting devices and accounts used to communicate with us.
18. Suspension and termination
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, users, our rights or legal compliance. Provisions intended to survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations, privacy and governing law, continue to apply.
19. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Subject to any mandatory rights to bring a claim elsewhere, the courts of Queensland and the competent federal courts of Australia have jurisdiction.
20. Severability, waiver and entire terms
If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be read down or severed to the minimum extent necessary without affecting the remaining provisions. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These website terms, together with referenced policies, constitute the agreement about website use, while separate transaction documents govern specific orders or services.
21. Changes
We may update these terms by publishing a revised version. Changes apply prospectively from the stated effective date. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised website terms.
